She Plays NYC is on a mission to raise the profile of women's sports in NYC. Through our platform, we make it easy for women’s teams, players, and fans to connect. Our vision is a city in which every woman or girl knows that there is as much opportunity, resource, and respect for her sport as there is for boys’.
Our Founder
My name is Lucia and I am a teenager from New York City. I have always been passionate about both feminism and sports, and saw the difference in attention paid to women’s sports versus men’s. I hope to be a part of the change in the way women’s sports are perceived.
